Honda S2000

A modern-day classic, begging to be driven.

The Honda S2000 is a 4-cylinder sports car that was made from 1999 to 2009. At the time, it had the highest redline of any production car at 9000 RPMs. I have driven a few of these cars, but never owned one. And that is a real shame, as they are a delight to drive! The engine doesn’t make a lot of torque, so you really have to rev it to get the most from the car, and that is where the fun is at. The S2000 has played a role in the Fast and Furious movies (don’t hold that against the car), and is featured in every racing video game I have ever played. It really is that much of a sports car icon. Right now, Honda S2000 values are climbing high, so if you have one that you are thinking of selling it might be the time.
